Hey, I'm KVNDRA [kunˈdraː] – an electronic musician, live act and educator based in Cologne, Germany.

I'm driven by a deep passion for bringing electronic music to life through my hybrid synthesizer setup. My signature sound blends ambient and (melodic) techno, creating music that's both deeply introspective and irresistibly danceable. Every performance is a unique live experience where I remix and reinterpret my tracks in real-time.

My journey into electronic music began after a decade-long adventure as a bass player in an alternative metal band. Since making the transition in 2019, I've released multiple singles and EPs, most of them as authentic live recordings that capture the raw energy of the performances. My international live shows have taken me to stages in Copenhagen, Zurich, Berlin and many other places.

Beyond performing, I've built an educational platform with 40,000+ people across social media channels, where I share structured tutorials, live jams, and insights into electronic music production.

Live

As a live act, I play all my music live on a hybrid synthesizer setup consisting of different hardware and the software Ableton Live. I remix and reinterpret my own tracks in real time, which means no two sets come out the same.

I also like to play improvised ambient sets, preferably together with other electronic musicians. If you want to book me, please get in touch.

From my studio

All of my tools started as something I built for my own sessions — not a product first and a use for it later, the other way round.

Two of them are free and always will be: Digiworld 1, a Digitone sound pack, and Mechanical Metropolis, a sample pack. Take them, use them in your own tracks, keep them.

The other two are what I actually work in. Ambient Atelier is the Ambient template I use, for Ableton Live and Push 3 Standalone. Melodic Movement is the sound pack that defines my sound. Both together come at a discount.

Updates are always free. When something bothers me while I'm playing and I fix it, everyone who already bought it gets the new version.

Patreon

Without the people supporting me on Patreon, I couldn't put anywhere near this much time into my creative work. I'm grateful for that in a way that's hard to fit into one sentence and I don't want it to be a one-way thing. So you get something back, based on the level of support:

Melodic Minute Supporter gets you 1 week early access to every YouTube video and free music: Every ten episodes I take the tracks and jams from that run and release them as a full album, on Patreon first and months before they go anywhere else.

Studio Access is for people who want to build with what I make: Ableton projects and live templates, Digitone and Digitakt projects, presets, sample packs, instrument and effect racks and more.

Studio Session adds an hour with me every month, one to one, on whatever you're working on. There are only three slos.
